Fun Filled Day

For some reason we decided to wake up early and run! We woke up at 6:30 and threw on our running clothes. We found a really great spot at KCC (Kapiolani Community College) where we figured there would be shade so when we came back after our run, Ollie's brain wouldn't fry in the car. So, off we went on our usual, weekly run around Diamond Head. When we got back, the sun was out, but as we thought our truck was protected from the heat. We gave Ollie some water and cooled off, then we put him in the truck and got our shopping bags out for the farmer's market. We found good produce deals and really tastey salsa (I forgot the name of it, but the guy is well known for it and he sells it out the back of his car, sounds sketch but is really good).

We got back around 9:00 and had some breakfast, showered, watched the end of Lean on Me, and at 11:00then headed out again to the...Punahou carnival! Yay! I love carnivals/fairs! I really miss the Puyallup fair, so Punahou will have to do. It took 30 minutes to find parking, but we got a really good spot a few blocks away. Instead of scones, I settled for a dozen malasadas (deep fried cake-like doughnuts covered in sugar). We also had their teri burger with cheese, Po's fried noodles, and orange cream smoothie.

Then we went to Costco to get gas and shop. I was so tired after all of that! Now we are watching My Best Friend's Girl.
