Fat Tuesday

This weekend was a blast! First I got to see Mit and her family. Kale (kah lay) is just a bundle of energy. Then I headed out for dinner with Jerm, Kevin, and Colleen at the Fat Greek. I am not a big fan of Greek food, but I really enjoyed the meal. We got gyros and humus with an extra side of pita. The humus is really creamy and delicious. The meat in the gyro was crunchy on the edges and tender in the middle and that creamy sauce/dressing was perfect!

Sunday came with the surprise that Keoni and Kristi went to the hospital. I guess it wasn't a total shock because her due date was Friday 2/20, but we finally got to see Noah that evening.Today is Fat Tuesday and we celebrated it by taking Ollie and my dad for a walk. Earlier today, I had planted a seed by texting the Bear to get some Malasadas. He simply replied to me to get back to work. Which, by the way was really difficult to do today for some reason. Anyway, on Sunday I had seen a sign on the side of Leonard's saying something about celebrating Fat Tuesday with a Malasada. So, it has been stuck in my mind since then. Jerm finally indulged me after our run around the zoo and the park and after standing in a very long line, I got my half dozen! Yay! It was well worth it!
