Summer begins, and so do the shots (non-alcoholic)!

I've been totally neglecting my blog site. So, my summer resolution is to keep that up to date. I just got finished reading Carrie& Eric's blog and it was so awesome. It inspired me!

What is up for my summer? Well, it is really short because Hawaii's public school system decided to go back to the traditional school calendar =(. I'll start again in August leaving me with less than 2 months. But, what many people do not know is that teachers work through the summer. Okay, not 9-5 and not everyday, but we do work...I promise. I actually have to work because my boss asked me to do some contracted work, but I'll work from home and I just need to fill out occassional progress reports and log my hours.

What else? Well, we have started our 2nd round of in vitro. At first I didn't want to tell people because I actually felt really bad for people who found out that it didn't work out the first time. They seemed so sad for us and at a loss for words and I didn't want people to feel that way. I don't think I was ready to be a parent, as well. I think it was a lot harder on Jerm. He is definitely ready and now, I can say that I am, too. Being at home in Hawaii has made me feel more at ease with everything. I really miss all of our friends who are really family on the mainland, but there is something about home that is a real comfort for me.

For now? I'll keep you informed of our progress and what happens with in vitro.
