Make-up finds...

My new favorite make-up brand is Trish McEvoy. I recently splurged a little on the planner kit because they had a special free gift of an additional page. I really didn't plan on spending money on any new make-up, but the clever regional make-up artist pulled me aside to just do a quick touch up as Rhandi and I were browsing a couple weeks ago.

So, I bought bronzer, some kind of highlighter duo shade thing (supposed to brighten the eyes and it does!), concealer (covers really well and is same shade as skin so you don't really have to blend), mascara (my favorite find*), and the planner. I got for free, an additional page that came with a natural eye shadow duo set, a free sample (good size tube like the pic) of the Bare Eye Base Essential, and a perfume sample.

*The mascara is fabulous! I stopped wearing mascara for awhile because of the humid Hawaiian weather. It would smear and washing it off was such a chore. But, this High Volume mascara is like no other. The make-up artist said that lots of hospital workers use it because of their long shifts and occassional naps. It doesn't smudge at all. All you need to wash it off is....warm water! Then you just kind of pull it off your lashes, it comes off as little tubes. Weird, but true. It doesn't smear or dissolve into tiny black particles giving you black eyes. My eyelashes feel so much healthier and it's oddly fun!
