Halloween is crazy here!

Okay, this was my first Halloween on the islands in 14 years! Even before then I really didn't go out to dress up and party (only on the mainland). So, it was pretty crazy for me. I really don't think that I will be drinking like this for a long time....I know I said that before, but actually my medication says not to drink any alcohol while I am taking it and I have to increase my dosage this week, so for real! I will probably be the designated driver for some time.

Quick update on baby stuff...
We met our new doctor, Dr. Benton Chun and his staff. They were awesome! It's always scary because you don't want to end up with a hack (as Carrie has warned me). So, the first appointment was just with his nurse and she asked for our history and gave us a presentation of how they do things there on a laptop (well prepared). Then our second appointment was with Dr. Chun himself and he did an ultrasound right there! That day he had diagnosed me with polycystic ovaries because he saw that I had 12+ follicles in my ovaries and my cycles were really irregular. When I went online to search polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) it listed a bunch of other scary symptoms! I'm glad I don't have skin tags, leathery skin, or obesity (although the food here is making it easy to gain weight). I'm not listing hairy because I am Okinawan and we are just hairy anyway. Anyway, now I am on some diabetic medication, metformin HCl, which is why I can't drink too much anymore.

So, this was my last hurrah. Hope you enjoy the pics!
Oh yes, last but not least, Happy Birthday, Bear!!!
